Overview

Stagwell is seeking a Strategy Analyst to join its Investment & Strategy team, focused on internal strategic consulting, long-range planning, and cross-network initiatives that support Stagwell's growth agenda. 

0–1 years of strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or relevant internship/coursework experience preferred. Please note this position is for immediate start. 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market, competitive, and industry research to inform corporate strategy and long-range planning 
  • Develop industry and macro market landscape analyses, including key themes, economic indicators, and competitive dynamics relevant to the marketing and communications sector 
  • Build frameworks and analyses to evaluate growth opportunities, new business lines, and network-wide strategic initiatives 
  • Partner with agency and network leaders to translate high-level strategic priorities into actionable plans 
  • Prepare presentations and briefing materials for senior leadership and the board on strategic initiatives and performance 
  • Maintain and update internal databases and trend-tracking resources leveraged by senior leadership 
  • Support annual and long-range planning processes, including budget and resource allocation input 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Investment, Finance, and network leadership teams on special projects 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in business, economics, or a related analytical field 
  • 0–1 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a related role; strong academic performance and relevant coursework considered 
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into clear insights 
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel 
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders 
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across a decentralized network 

Compensation

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of total compensation for this role is $85,000–95,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
