About Us

The Marketing Cloud is seeking a Sales Director to drive growth for Agent Cloud, our secure AI workspace designed for modern marketing, agency, and enterprise teams. This role is critical to building early commercial momentum for Agent Cloud—generating pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and supporting deal execution—while helping establish foundational sales processes in a high-growth, emerging product area.
 
Agent Cloud brings together leading large language models (LLMs), pre-built AI assistants, and the ability to create custom agents within a single, enterprise-grade environment. The platform enables organizations to accelerate AI adoption without tool sprawl, governance risk, or security concerns—empowering teams to work faster, smarter, and more securely with generative AI.
 
In this role, you will play a hands-on part in bringing Agent Cloud to market, shaping go-to-market strategy, and driving early adoption with agencies and brands. You will collaborate closely with senior sales, product, and marketing leadership at The Marketing Cloud to define what “great” looks like as the product and revenue motion scale.
 
This position is ideal for a motivated, entrepreneurial seller who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys outbound prospecting, builds pipeline from the ground up, and is excited to sell cutting-edge AI capabilities to sophisticated, forward-thinking customers.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in building and filling the sales funnel for Agent Cloud.
  • Prospect and qualify inbound and outbound leads through targeted outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn).
  • Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and early-stage sales conversations focused on AI use cases and workflows.
  • Manage and progress small to mid-market opportunities through the full sales cycle.
  • Support sales leadership on larger or more complex agency and enterprise deals.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, notes, and forecasting in the CRM.
  • Execute defined sales motions and provide feedback to improve messaging, process efficiency, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaign follow-up, positioning feedback, and lead conversion.
  • Gather customer and prospect insights related to AI adoption, governance, and workflow needs, and share learnings with Product and Sales Leadership.
  • Contribute to the development of sales enablement materials, use-case narratives, and product playbooks.
  • Learn and evolve alongside the Agent Cloud product as new models, assistants, and integrations are introduced.

Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or account management; AI, martech, adtech, or enterprise software experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline generation.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and structured, consultative sales processes.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, early-stage or high-growth product environment.
  • Experience selling to agencies, brands, or enterprise teams preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical AI concepts into business value.
  • Curiosity about generative AI, LLMs, and how AI can transform productivity and workflows.
  • Scrappy, self-motivated team player with a desire to grow into larger deal ownership over time.
