Overview

We are looking for a Client Finance Analyst to join our finance department. The client finance analyst will have experience in owning the finance function for client teams, ideally in an agency setting, which includes handling client budgets and being a key coordinator with non-finance teams through the lifecycle of scopes. Essential qualities include being detail oriented, organized, and an effective communicator across levels.

Responsibilities

  • Be a key component of managing the scope lifecycle which includes opening codes, ensuring the billing team is sending accurate invoices, managing third party costs, ensuring accuracy of client POs, reconciling billing against WIP, and closing jobs.
  • Foster relationships with non-finance teams to be able to manage client finance related issues which includes PO management, processing/payment of third party costs, ensuring billing accuracy based on scopes of works and agreed payment terms, expense reconciliation.
  • Oversee billing and payment schedules to ensure accurate and prompt submissions / receipts.
  • Possess the ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Lead timesheet management to ensure the timely submission, approval and accuracy of timesheets.
  • Review aged WIP balances to ensure that WIP is billed on a timely basis.
  • Be a proactive and enthusiastic partner to client teams and enjoy problem solving client related finance issues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a client finance role in an agency environment.
  • Strong organizational skills to track outstanding requests and follow up consistently to receive necessary information from non-finance teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, writing and communication skills.
  • Flexibility and managing multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail imperative.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with Maconomy, One Stream a plus.

Equal Opportunities

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation for this role is $75,000 - $95,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
