Responsibilities

  • Lead deck development for all major internal and external presentations by leadership, including Global Town Halls, main stage speaking opportunities and investor presentations
  • Execute high-impact thought leadership presentations and business priorities including Stagwell’s Annual Report and the CEO’s main stage presentations at industry conferences
  • Develop strong narrative for each opportunity, backed by detailed support from across the Stagwell network, plus original research and data
  • Understand key conversations happening among marketing, technology and business leaders, identifying inroads into the conversation for Stagwell
  • Synthesize broad business themes and priorities for specific opportunities and audiences, while maintaining a consistent brand message
  • Work within broader Brand & Comms Team to syndicate key messages across all channels, internal and external

Qualifications

Stagwell is seeking an experienced individual working in the marketing, consulting or business landscape to join the Brand and Communications Team as the manager for special editorial projects and business/executive communications, reporting into Stagwell’s VP of Brand and Chief Brand and Communications Officer. In this role, you will help bring our corporate strategy and business positioning to life across some of our most important earned and owned platforms throughout the year, including major speaking opportunities for our C-Suite, annual reports and publications published by Stagwell, global town halls, and more. The right candidate has strong experience with thought leadership in both written and deck format, experience in corporate narrative development, and an understanding of the CMO, CDO and CEO audience in terms of content development.

  • 2-5 years in consulting, business strategy or executive communications
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging out of complex narratives
  • Outstanding deck-building skills, with the ability to construct a narrative arc through the medium (design skills not required)
  • Experience working for high-level executives on business-related communications
  • Clear and concise communicator with strong organizational skills, and ability to create clear processes, while maintaining flexibility for change
  • Ability to cut through ambiguity
  • Thrives in a vigorous environment, working against dynamic timelines and demands
  • Self-starting researcher with a curiosity to dig deeper into topics and go beyond the current conversations to look at what’s next
  • A deep understanding of the issues and topics driving conversations among CMOs, CDOs and CEOs, and an ability to craft dynamic narratives addressing those conversations

Compensation

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in New York City for this role is $80,000-$100,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
